Applicant should be 18+

Applicant  will be  responsible for one T1D campers diabetes care day & night including following LOOP/DEXCOM/NIGHTSCOUT ALARMS, carb counting, changing pump, dexcom, treating highs & lows, corrections & insulin doses with guidance & approval from the medical staff.

Applicant shall provide leadership for campers diabetes care, work alongside medical staff, oversee camper as she participates in all camp activities, and create a safe & positive camp environment. 
Applicant needs to be not only knowledgable in TYPE 1 DIABETES, INSULIN PUMP & CGM but also fun, energetic, and motivated!  

This is a great opportunity to build life skills, have fun, create lasting friendships, and be a role model to an 12 year old Type 1 Diabetic.  This will be her 3rd year at this sleep away camp.

 We are looking for a T1D who knows DEXCOM & OMNIPOD (loop is a huge +) to be “camp counselor” for 5 weeks this summer in upstate NEW YORK at  SLEEP AWAY CAMP. 

THE COUNSELOR would be sleeping in Girls Bunk, so it must be a female. 

 She would mainly be my 11 yo daughter 1:1 T1D supervisor working with the medical & camp staff. 

 Job would start JULY 18th

JULY 17- July 23 you would be training in our home in East Hampton

 Sleep Away Camp starts July 23 in UPSTATE NY

And ends Aug 16th.

There is a visiting day on Aug 5th, where you can have your family come visit you as well!

Pay is $1000 per week X 5 weeks!

Plus transportation flying to/from NYC and travel to/from camp
